GRAMP Summer Series 2008
Newcomers welcome!
The summer series is the perfect way to try orienteering for the first time. As last year, the first event of the series is a free introductory event for beginners. At this event, our team of club coaches will run though the key techniques needed in orienteering and explain the mysteries of the orienteering map! However, don’t worry if you can’t get to this event - all events in the series include courses suitable for first-timers, both adults and children, runners and the less athletic, and experienced club members or coaches will be on hand at all events to help you get started.
Each event costs £2 for adults, £1 for juniors or students.
Just register and start off when you like from 6:30 - 7:30pm.
(Courses close 8:30pm depending on daylight.)
(I'll post travel directions nearer the time - good idea to keep checking anyway just in case any of these events change.)

Pete Lawrence would love to hear from any GRAMPs who can fill the gaps above or lend an extra hand to the organisers. It doesn't matter if you've never organised/planned before - this is the ideal chance to give it a shot in a lowkey, no pressure environment and we'll team you up with an experienced club member to show you the ropes.
