Bronze:  Maya Reynard, Jennifer Ricketts, Joseph Ritchie, Kieran Sutton, Keith Yardley

Prizes and certificates can be collected at any Wednesday event.

So far this year 271 people have taken part in the summer series on a total of 900 runs.  With 3 events still to go I'm confident we'll make it to 1000 runs this year, especially as two of the remaining events have the added incentive of a brand new area - Dunnottar Woods and Perwinnes Moss.  Don't miss out!

geograph teaser   (Posted 14/08)
Kate Robertson seemed to be first who couldn't resist my challenge and was doing pretty well at Level 2 until Grampian Pete waded in a couple of days ago. Andrew McMurtrie also seems to have caught the bug and Sasha was the only contender at Level 1. I tried Level 3, 4 and 5 but there are some real wildcards here like a picture of snowdrops!!? Eeeny-meeny-miny-mo........   In case the rest of you still want to try here's the link.

Alga update
Hi all,
If you want some more vicarious travelling....
Since the last update in Panama we have covered something like 4000 sea miles and have visited the Galapagos and Marquesas islands so there are lots of pictures of wildlife and rocks not to mention all the wet bits.

Hope you enjoy it and keep the comments coming.

If you've read this far down the page then you obviously think there should be more on it. Funnily enough I agree, but I've run out of inspiration at the moment. What would you like to see? What have you stumbled across recently while wilfing* on the net that you think the rest of us might be interested in? Doesn't have to be pure O related - there is life beyond O contrary to popular belief. Drop me an email and let me know.

*wilfing - the act of getting sidetracked on the net before suddenly thinking "what was I looking for?"
